Mobile Developer

Position Description

We are looking for a developer to take responsibility for development of our mobile applications. Tasks will involve start-to-end application development covering user interface, design, implementation, and testing. You will interact with our other development team to develop common data access tier components. You will also be responsible for providing ongoing technology guidance across mobile platforms.

Required Skills:
  • Experience developing for Android, with at least one completed application in portfolio
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
Additional Assets:
  • Experience developing for iPhone or iOS
  • Objective-C, C#, Java
  • N-tier design and experience with enterprise design patterns and tools
  • Web services, ASP.NET, IIS, WCF
  • User interface design
  • Experience with test-driven development and agile development practices

Intermediate .NET Developer/Architect

Position Description

We are an expanding company seeking intermediate .NET software developers who will thrive on an Agile development team. We pride ourselves on our ambition, problem solving skills, innovation, self-organization, and the production of quality software applications. We work in an open office environment and are in constant collaboration and communication with each other. We are an XP (Extreme Programming) shop that practices TDD (Test Driven Development), Pair Programming, and Continuous Integration.

As a member of our core team, you will work with our business team to understand business objectives for desktop, web-based, and mobile applications by helping us to develop technology guidance and software architecture and development with other software developers, computational algorithm engineers, user experience developers, subject matter experts, testers, and graphic designers. We use C#, .NET 4.0, NUnit, Moq, TeamCity, and other licensed and open source tools to develop high quality WPF-based data visualization applications.

Required skills:
  • Experience with XP and/or SCRUM methodologies, including TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, etc.
  • A pragmatic mentality who can and has the desire to pick up different .NET programming languages quickly.
  • Pride and craftsmanship in the work that you do.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
Additional assets:

ASP.NET Developer

Position Description

We are looking for a high quality web developer to build the customer facing side of our applications. This exciting opportunity will allow a qualified applicant to join a new team and build a new application from the ground up. As an ASP.NET Web developer at Pulsar Informatics you will design, develop and maintain the customer facing web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and Javascript while working with our team of developers, designers and testers to ensure the production of an engaging, high performance web application.

Requirements

4+ years of professional software development, shipping real code to users; Work and/or internship experience with a consumer-facing Internet company; Strong coding and debugging skills in C#; Development experience with web application development; ASP.NET
